Once-in-a-while I see glimpses of the communal art dream. This time it was through Zack Arias, a photographer who has long been an inspiration for me. He and his church have recently started the Buckhead Photography Project; It sounds amazing.
Maybe I should start seriously looking at this again.

Jono. Sometimes I wonder...Really I do...How can someone that I feel like I am just getting to know see me with out me even sharing.
The Communal Art as you call it. I call it "Studio". My dream and vision is the same idea. To have a place for people to gather to share and exchange ideas in a welcoming and open enviroment. I have had this idea in my head since highschool. It started out as a coffee shop idea and has moved to a building that I have in my mind with cool concret constructiona and huge windows. I see artists of all types getting together. Photographers,Painters,Sculpters,Musicians,Players,Dancers. This is my vision. I do invision that it is in a very urban downtown setting and it is place that any artist can go. There would be a place to display art and a place to proform art. Supplies would as freely shared and excessable as the knowledge that everyone can share.
My idea of this has not been told to many people. I always felt somewhat crazy for the idea.
