Animaniacs! (it's pronounced Otto von Schnitzelpuss - krankenge-scheitmeyer)

The trigger for the readdiction is unknown but, as of yesterday, I've once again fallen under the spell of Animaniacs. I will argue until I'm blue in the face that this was one of the most intelligent cartoon shows of its time (and possibly all time). One must only watch Yakko's World to truly appreciate the genius of this show.

The DVD package is released on the July 25th and I propose that July 29th be the Animaniacs Fest at my house (or someone else with suitable seating and a big tv). It will be madness I tell you! MADNESS!

Hate to break it to ya, Jonny, but Rocky & Bullwinkle was by far the best cartoon of all time. Oh wait. You said "intelligent". Ummm... in that case, I'd have to say that ... shoot, can't think of any other cartoons right now. Been awhile since I've watched cartoons. So I'll get back to ya on that one. I'm sure, if given enough time in which I am not completely exhausted, I will think of something.
Btw...I love the fact that my favorite cartoon of all time is one that was never aired during my lifetime.

Oooooh...I think I've just been challenged! But really...can't Jonny fight his own battles?!? He's a big boy, isn't he?
HAH!
We all know that I am quite safe where I am; Jonny won't go anywhere in which temperatures above 77F are the norm.
Lol.

Jonny!
I figured out what the most intelligent cartoons of all time were--there's two of them.

1.) School House Rock

2.) Science Court

Ya can't argue with me on this one, Jonny. School House Rock is by far the bomb-diggety & thanks to Science Court, I understand several scientific priniciples that I otherwise wouldn't have understood.

So there ya go: the two most intelligent cartoon shows of all time.

Adios.

Jono!

What a brilliant idea. I'm all in for an Anamaniacs (you have no idea how mentally stimulating it was to type that word) fest! In fact if opportunity prevails, we could hold it at our new house! Of course I will have to run that by the big boss. :P

Hooray for new house!

That is going to be so cool, having a new hangout place, knowing where the two of you are so you can't escape the group events any more.

I promise to enforce a group awareness of exit cues though (wink wink, nudge nudge, say no more)

Jonny, you're awesome!
You know what else is awesome...Animaniacs! I've said it for many years. I wanted it to come out on DVD. Now it is. Now I can wait til Jonny buys it and then watch it at Animaniacs fest. Hopefully at Lauren and Nathan's.

Exit cues...(wink wink? nudge nudge? say no more?)...what does that mean? Lauren and Nathan probably are going to spend all their time alone playing Boggle so they can both destroy me the next time we play. Yes, that's why they'll want us to leave.

Ok you all have it wrong good luck getting them to answer the door to the "NEW HOUSE" ha ha for what say at least a month or 2 so yea once I am gone then they will open it up for gatherings!!! Ahhhhh Maybe it is me that they are trying to avoid. :) Jonny all I can say is that you are going to have to do it all again when I get back!!!

Ok I want to lay the smack down! Jonny does go out when it is over 77F it is not till 28C that he remains in the house in front of the air. Can you blame him. Jono might be a big boy and all but I will kick anyones butt that messes with him. I am the bodygaurd!!!!! Word up J man I got your back anytime!

Umm...So since I can't post this on cool shoe's blog...gonna have to do it here...sorry Jonny.

Cool Shoe~
I have an email to prove that Jonny all but ceases to function at about 77 degrees Fahrenheit.
And unless you have worked for 4 weeks, 8-10 hours a day in the high heat of summer [much hotter than 28c!] outside in corn fields, I think I've got you beat.
And don't even think about bringing the cold factor into play---Iowa gets just as cold as ya'll up there.
Sooo, with that said---
BRING IT ON!
The Ninja can take you.
Ohhh can she take you & prevail.

Duck Tales, or maybe even Darkwing Duck, possibly even Care Bears, perhaps, just perhaps, Inspector Gadget, I'd even consider Teddy Ruxpin, contemplate Tale Spin, deliberate on Ghost Busters, discuss Ninja Turtles, off-handedly debate Smurfs, but I will not even speak of these 'intelligent' cartoons you mention. Mostly because I've never heard of them and enjoyed mine enough not to mind missing out even if they were grandish.

Holy catbuckets, Batman!!!
You've never heard of School House Rock?!? Science Court, I can understand--afterall, it only had a 1-year run. But School House Rock?!?
You're an '80's kid, aren't ya??? Wait...I'm not really an '80's kid...h'mmm...maybe it was just an American thing.
Here's the website:

Haha, this is great! Who could forget such episodes as "Conjuntion Junction: What's your Function?" & "The Preamble" & "I'm Just a Bill" & "The Shot Heard 'Round the World" & "Figure Eight" & "Victim of Gravity" . . .
Okay...so yah, maybe it was just an American show. But it was by far the greatest show on earth! I mean, if you've got high schoolers & college students who love it, that's gotta say somethin' for the intelligence & ingenuity of the show!
Btw...major propage for mentioning Duck Tales & Care Bears & Inspector Gadget as intelligent shows....even if ya have never heard of School House Rock.
